Day1
Fly to Enfidha, Tunisia, and explore the ancient ruins of Carthage and the charming village of Sidi Bou Said. End the day with an overnight stay in the beautiful area of Gamarth.

Morning flight and afternoon arrival in Tunis, meet & greet tour guide and proceed to Sousse (1,5 hr) and check into the hotel.
Enjoy the remainder of the day exploring sandy beaches or the many amenities, from the saltwater pool to its spa facilities.

Day1
Fly to Enfidha, Tunisia, and explore the ancient ruins of Carthage and the charming village of Sidi Bou Said. End the day with an overnight stay in the beautiful area of Gamarth.

Morning flight (approx 3 hrs) to Enfidha/Hammamet, meet & greet tour guide and proceed to Sousse (1hr) and check into the beach front 4-star hotel.
Enjoy the remainder of the day exploring sandy beaches or the many amenities, from the saltwater pool to its spa facilities.

Day2
Travel through Kairouan to explore Sbeitla's ancient ruins, then continue to Gafsa for an overnight stay.

We travel south to El Jem and visit its spectacular Roman amphitheater, dubbed the best preserved in the world (another UNESCO World Heritage Site), once seating over 30,000 eager spectators. We also visit the archaeological museum where we find some of the world’s most gorgeous collection of mosaics and the remains of Roman Villas.
Further south in Gabès, we stop to visit the bustling souks and market renowned for aromatic spices before continuing to Matmata, of Star Wars notoriety, and visit one of the typical troglodyte pit homes in this desert region where The Berber people built these simple underground dwellings to escape the extremes of weather and any unwelcome invaders.
e also visit the hotel Sidi Dris, where scenes from the Lars homestead in Star Wars were filmed before continuing to Douz, the oasis town known as the “Gateway to the Sahara”. Here, you have the opportunity (optional $) to have a camel ride passing over the majestic sand dunes and picturesque Sahara Desert, which extends over to 3.6 million square miles, amounting to nearly a third of Africa’s surface. Day2
Travel through Kairouan to explore Sbeitla's ancient ruins, then continue to Gafsa for an overnight stay.

Day excursion to Kairouan and El Jem. We start with Kairouan where we visit the great Mosque and UNESCO-protected old city. We then continue to El Jem and visit its spectacular Roman amphitheater, dubbed the best preserved in the world (another UNESCO World Heritage Site), once seating over 30,000 eager spectators. We also visit the archaeological museum where we will find some of the world’s most gorgeous collections of mosaics and the remains of Roman Villas.

Day3
Journey to Tozeur and Douz for an overnight adventure. Enjoy a thrilling jeep excursion to the Schbika and Tamarza Oasis for just $75.

Today we start our northward drive with Chott El Jerid (Salt Lake) is the largest in Tunisia and only becomes an inner sea during the winter rains. Most of the year it is a salty and dry marsh with the light reflected from the crystal surface creating mirages. We arrive on the outskirts of Tozeur, visit the old town, one of the largest southern settlements, famous for the unique decorative architecture in brick. Also, we will visit the Museum of palm trees where we learn about the unique oasis an explanation of the irrigation system. This visit will end by a degustation of date products.
This afternoon, we continue to Sbeitla to view some of the best-preserved Roman Empire’s remnants, dominated by a Forum and finest group of small temples and basilicas.
Dinner in Sousse and overnight.

Day3
Journey to Tozeur and Douz for an overnight adventure. Enjoy a thrilling jeep excursion to the Schbika and Tamarza Oasis for just $75.
