Evening Departure



Late afternoon/Evening departure from selected departure points.

Evening Damsterdam - Overnight Cruise to Newcastle, England

Morning arrival and opportunity for breakfast. A subsequent orientation tour will reveal the capital's most famous highlights from Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank's House. We recommend a Canal Glass boat ride which offers best viewing angle of what has been justifiably so been dubbed the Venice Of the north.


Enjoy the early afternoon exploring the capitals treasures prior to boarding our overnight cruise to Newcastle, England. Enjoy the many amenities onboard.
Day3
Newcastle - Edinburg

Upon our morning arrival we travel along the eastern English coast to Edinburgh where joined by our local guide, we explore Edinburgh’s best highlights, such as the dominating Edinburgh Castle, home of the Scottish Crown Jewels and the Stone of the Scone, the birthplace of Queen Mother and once home of the Queen of Scots, Holyrood House, the unique Medieval Royal Mile and more. Spend the remainder of the day at your own leisure.



Your trour guide will assist with attending a Scotting dinner show reflecting the witty nuances of this unique culture.
Day4
Glasgow - Belfast

We leave this morning for Glasgow stopping en route in Killearn to visit one Scotland's most famous distilleries. An orientation tour points out the city's attractions you may feel compelled to visit on subsequent own leisure time.


Later this afternoon we leave for the Irish Sea Ferry crossing onto Belfast and hotel check-in.
Day5
Dublin

We dedicate the morning to touring Belfast. This includes a visit to the Titanic Quarter, one of the world’s largest urban – waterfront regenerations. Here you can relive the Titanic story at the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience. Only here can you trace the Titanic story to its source, discover the passion and pride of those who designed and built her and relive the excitement of the Titanic era when the city was at the height of its powers. There will be ample time left to explore St. George’s Market.


Later this afternoon we continue to Dublin for our next overnight stay.
Enjoy an abundant nightlife, perhaps attend a play or a musical.
Day6
Dublin - Rosslare - Normandy

We start the day with sightseeing tour of featuring St. Patrick’s Cathedral, O’Connell Street, Grafton Street, Phoenix Park, and the city’s magnificent rows of lovely Georgian town homes.


The afternoon is yours to spend at your own leisure.
We then travel to Rosslare and cruise overnight to Normandy.
Day7
Morning at sea - Cherbourg, Normandy

Morning at Sea. Enjoy the amenities on the Stena Horizon before arriving to Normandy later this afternoon.


Upon docking in Cherbourg we continue to Sainte Mere Eglise for an opportunity to visit the new Airborne MuseumDepicting the Paratroopers touch down triggering D-Day operations in June 1944 and liberating Europe from German occupation. Here we can still see John Steele's was left dangling a time from the medieval church as his parachute got caught on its tower.
Day8
D-Day Landing Beaches - Amercain Cemetery - Paris

Joined by our local guide we visit the Landing Beaches most important sites starting with Omaha Beach and Pointe Du Hoc and finishing with Utah Beach and The American Cemetery.


In the afternoon, we Paris for an opportunity for a most memorable evening outing stating with dinner at Montmartre and winding the evening down with a Seine River Cruise.
Day9
Paris - Return home

Upon an orientation tour of Paris highliting its most iconinc and famous landmarks, there will time to eexplore perhaps visit the Louvre Museum or stroll the Champs Elysees before retuning home arriving late evening hours.



American Cemetery at Colleville Sur Mer
Situated above Omaha Beach, a place where the American military suffered staggering casualties on D-Day, the American cemetery at Colleville-Sur-Mer contains the remains of nearly 10,000 service members who died during the Normandy campaign. With marble crosses and Stars of David stretching as far as the eye can see, the cemetery is a solemn, breathtaking experience that all Americans should share..

Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées
Emperor Napoléon I commissioned the 164-foot tall Arc de Triomphe. It was built in an age when leaders erected monuments in their own honor, evoking sheer military power and triumph. The arch's magnificent sculptures and reliefs at the same time commemorate Napoléon's generals and soldiers.

Bayeux
The small medieval town is famous for its Bayeux Tapestry, a masterpiece embroidered in honor of William the Conqueror. After a walk-through history the city is inviting for a stroll on cobbled streets, passing half-timbered houses on the way to Notre-Dame Cathedral.

D-Day
Operation Overload of June 6, 1944, brought together the land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became known as the largest invasion force in human history. The museum dedicated to keeping Anne Frank's story alive uses modern media to provide educational background information about Nazi-occupied Amsterdam. The young Jewish girl's diary is on display. The actual hiding place of the family is accessible and a place of reflection.

Belfast
Once a powerful shipbuilding center, Belfast is the capital city of Northern Ireland and the birthplace of the famous doomed ocean liner, RMS Titanic. The development of industries like linen, ropemaking, and shipbuilding doubled the town's size every ten years. Because of that, it is now a third of Northern Ireland's population.
