Pisa - Montecatini

AM arrival to Pisa, famous for the Piazza dei Miracoli, (Place of Miracles). Entire religious complex of Cathedral, Baptistery, Bell Tower (also known as the leaning tower) and Graveyard was listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1987 and is considered one of the most important examples of medieval architecture.

Florence

We dedicate the day to visiting The Cradle of The Renaissance city of Florence where a city walking tour will reveals its most famous attractions such as the 14th century Palazzo Vecchio a fortress-shaped town hall, located on the Piazza Della Signoria square. The piazza is focal point of the origin and of the history of the Florentine Republic and still maintains its reputation as the political hub of the city. There will also be the world's largest renaissance art collection of the Uffizzi, the Ponte Vecchio and more. Florence is famous for it Italian Leather and Gold and there will opportunities to satisfy your temptations before returning to our hotel.



Day4
San Gimignano, Siena, Orivetto

We leave this morning for the multi-towered city of San Gimignano one of the hidden secrets of Tuscany. Following some time to explore, we continue through picturesque vineyard famous Chianti onto of Italy's most charming towns of Siena where we join our local guide for a walking tour.


There will be time to enjoy and lunch before traveling further south to the perched city of Orvieto on our way to Rome.
We arrive in the evening and check into our hotel.
Day5
Vatican - Rome City tour

Time on your own leisure or join us on an optional tour by a licensed local guide of the Vatican Museums & The Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica highlighting the papal apartments of the medieval Apostolic Palace decorated with frescoes during the Renaissance, the Sistine Chapel, the exhibition rooms of the Vatican Apostolic Library and the museums themselves. The tour will end at Bernini's St Peter's Square lying in front of the Basilica.


In the afternoon, we embark on a city tour of ancient Rome emphasizing The Roman Forum, The Collosseum, The Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus and much more.
This evening you we suggest a memorable dinner and an illumination tour through Rome’s city center. The walking tour will reveal the Italian nightlife on the piazzas with illuminated fountains and the winding streets of the historical city center.
Day6
Capri - Sorrento - Positano Amalfi Coast

We leave early this morning to dive further south onto the picturesque Bay of Naples. Here you'll have the option to take an optional boat ride to the famous Island of Capri then check into our hotel in Sorrento.


Enjoy the remainder of the day exploring the peninsula or else join us on an excursion to one Italy's most beautiful coastlines of Amalfi and its romantic town of Positano site of "Under The Tuscan Sun" movie.
There will be an opportunity for a beach front dinner prior to retuning to Sorrento. Perhaps you'd wish to attend a typical Tarantella Show.
Day7
Pompeii - Assisi - Perugia

We leave this morning to be joined by a local guide to tour Pompeii and learn of one of the world's most interesting archeological sites and one resurrected to tell us our story like no other.


This afternoon, we continue northward journey onto Assisi for an opportunity to visit St Francis Basilica before continuing to Perugia for our next overnight stay.
Day8
San Marino

Our next leg of journey takes clear across the Central Apennines Mountains to discover the Republic of San Marino, the most ancient European Republic, sitting at 700 meters above sea level on Mount Titano. Here our local guide explains the inner works of a proud society that survived hundreds of year's civilizations intrigues and disputes.


Later this afternoon, we travel along the Adriatic coastline onto Venice/Mestre for our next 2 overnight stay. En route, we stop in Ravenna to see the burial site of Italy's most beloved Dante author of famous Divine Comedy.
Day9
Venice

To reach the Island of Venice this morning, we take the waterbus into Venice for an orientation tour of St. Mark's Square the central landmark and its surrounding. Venice stretching over 117 islands connected by bridges, is Europe's largest car free zone and is inviting you for a leisurely stroll, some shopping and sightseeing.


Arrangements can be made for a romantic and charming gondola ride that provides a very special view of the city and make up for a perfect coronation of our tour.
Your tour guide will make suggestions for a typical Venetian Dinner.
Day10
Verona - Home

Upon check out this morning to travel to Verona for a charming finale in Verona where we get to see famous Romeo & Juliet's eternalized Balcony and the famous Roman Amphitheater the summer home of the Aida performances.


Following an opportunity for lunch, we travel homewards crossing Switzerland's majestic Alps arriving to points of origin late evening hours.
Assisi
The city influenced both diversity in religions and Europe's art history. It is the intertwining of these two features that make this medieval town a vital landmark. Assisi is a charming town, is full of enchanting corners and small shops offering local wares. There are also many restaurants and cafes, which offer delicious meals and snacks.
