Krakow

We arrive in the morning hours Auschwitz Birkenau for a visit of the State Museum. A licensed guide is leading us through the. 3.5-4 hr. of through the permanent exhibitions and buildings at the Auschwitz I-Main Camp and the most important camp buildings in Auschwitz II-Birkenau: prisoner barracks, the unloading platform (ramp), and the ruins of gas chamber and crematoria II or III.
We then continue to check into our hotel and spend the remainder of the day at own leisure, exploring Poland's most charming city.

Morning arrival in Krakow. An orientation tour with an private local guide is leading us through through the UNESCO-listed Old Town will lead you to the medieval St. Mary’s Basilica and 17th-century St Peter and Paul’s Church; and the historic Cloth Hall and Royal Wawel Castle complex.

Auschwitz

Auschwitz
Established by Germans in 1940, Auschwitz, was the largest of the Nazi concentration and death camps. Nowadays, the grounds and buildings of Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau camps are open to visitors and are a testimonial for survivors, their families, and all who wish to learn about the Holocaust.

Wieliczka Salt Mine, Poland
The salt mine at Wieliczka, near Kraków, is the oldest of her kind in the world. Visitors learn about the actual mining process and the importance of salt during medieval times. They are, moreover, dazzled by elaborate chapels and underground rooms beautifully decorated, carved out of Miocene salt; sculptures accompanying and comforting the Miners life.
